The Flour Shed and the Hart’s Mill, Mundy Street Port Adelaide is an amazing space to house Sandstorm Events Sand Sculpting Exhibition – as all the sculptures are UNDER COVER – protecting and making the event an ALL weather event – providing you the opportunity to view the sand sculptures without battling the weather elements – pouring rain, searing heat or gale force winds.
Having the sculptures undercover also allows the sand sculptors to carve more intricate detail and more cut throughs – as they don’t need to be concerned about the sculpture surviving the elements.
It also allows us to light the sculptures, provide a small theatrette – screeningthe making of the event and a viewing platform – so you can get a different perspective of the sculptures – from above and a Food Truck Park andChildren’s Carnival.
Getting to the event

There is an abundance of parking available at Harts Mill and additional parking in the surrounding streets. – and its Free
If you would prefer to catch public transport Port Adelaide is easily accessible by both bus and train, with multiple stops nearby. Remember, when catching the Outer Harbour line your journey on foot to Hart’s Mill will be shorter than if you get off at Ethelton Station. You can plan your journey at the Adelaide Metro website .
