GETTING TO THE EVENT
Where is it?
The Australian Sand Sculpting Championships running from 28th March to 26th April 2026 will be located at 510N Nepean Highway Frankston, adjacent to the Kananook Creek boat ramp.
Parking
There is paid parking on the Frankston foreshore but be aware it is time limited and the boat ramp car park is for boats and trailers only. There is free parking on Nepean Highway along the foreshore and also throughout
Frankston City but is also time limited. There are also free spaces available in the side streets coming of Nepean Highway through Frankston.
Public Transport
If you are coming to the event using public transport, there are bus services that arrive from outside suburbs but you will need to check the up to date and current PTV schedules for travel time estimates.
If you are coming by train, alight from the Frankston CBD side of the station and walk along Wells Street which is to the left of the staion as you walk away until you get to Nepean Highway. From there you need to turn left and head in the direction of the Peninsula until you get to the intersection of Davey St and Nepean Highway, from there you should be able to see the event diagonally across the highway. The total walk time is approximately 10 minutes at a casual pace.
